Press Releases

November, 2008 – A new product launch for 5-axis machining centers.  HTI announced a new, modular style fixture that allows machining on all five sides of a workpiece without interference.  The fixture and pedestal combination gets the workpiece above the table for operations even beyond the 90° plane.  A low cost solution to a common manufacturing problem.

August, 2008 – New Equipment has been added to HTI’s already impressive line-up.  Brand new machines include a Mikron High-Speed Machining Center, a Haas VF-2, a Mori-Seiki NL2000, and a Sunnen Hone.  These pieces enhance the plan to produce custom workholding products at low cost for quick delivery.

July, 2008
– A 9’ Water-jet was purchased by HTI from Flow Corporation.  This acquisition allows in-house material control to streamline their new tooling column construction process.  Cost and delivery times have been impacted to benefit customers.  A totally custom tooling column now cost the same as a lower quality, standard size, cast column.

July, 2008 – HTI moves its operation to Fullerton, California.  HTI purchased a new building in Fullerton that almost triples its former manufacturing floor to better serve its customers.  Within easy reach of the 57 and 91 freeways, access to shipping and customers is fast and easy.

April, 2008
– HTI announces their partnership with Industrial Workholding Solutions.  IWS will be the exclusive representative for HTI products in the five western states of California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Nevada.
